Charitable Donations
Why We Give
The mission of the International Women’s Club, Inc., requires the organization to provide charitable opportunities for its members. As such, club members raise funds by organizing a variety of fundraising activities throughout the year. These funds, along with in-kind donations provided by the members, are distributed to local charities/non-profit organizations that are identified and vetted by the Charitable Donations, Service and Development Committee.
The International Women’s Club, Inc is a Delaware registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization recognized as tax exempt under the United States Internal Revenue Code. All donations to the International Women’s Club, Inc, whether by members or outside organizations, are deductible by the donors for state and federal income tax purposes.
How We Give
Donations are obtained in a variety of ways. Anyone may donate to the International Women’s Club, Inc.
Non-restricted donations may be made via our website by clicking the DONATE button below and following the directions.
Restricted donations for charities and non-restricted donations may be made by check to “International Women’s Club, Inc.” with restricted donation or non-restricted donation written in the memo section, and mailed to: International Women’s Club, Inc., PO Box 65, Hockessin, DE 19707.
The International Women’s Club, Inc also collects in-kind supplies that are donated to non-profit organizations that serve vulnerable populations in Wilmington and surrounding communities.
